However, after my initial conversation with Ms. Whitley Adkins, my concerns were put to rest. She assured me that, together, we would find the “perfect fit” for my family’s needs. Whitley spent several hours with me on the phone, emailed me almost weekly (if not daily sometimes!) and sent numerous applicant files for my viewing. She was always highly communicative, available and extremely professional. She even visited with me and my children, in my home, to fully understand our specific needs and unique family “flavor”. I was impressed with the comprehensive nature of their files on each applicant, which included background checks, references and a personal profile of each perspective nanny. She personally interviews and notes the strengths and weaknesses of each applicant and is happy to discuss anything by phone. This was greatly appreciated, as the care of my children was my highest priority. Through her efforts, I was able to interview several highly qualified women. In the end, we found our “fit”- a bright, motivated and experienced young woman, who now helps me with my three girls every day. I cannot thank Whitley enough for hanging in there with me-she knew what I expected and followed through on our objectives. Today my husband and I feel blessed to have our nanny with us. Although no one can ever replace the care that a parent can give, in my opinion, it does “take a village” to raise our children.
